Gustav Adell takes the trophy of GreenEagle Classic

Winsen an der Luhe/Germany (mat) – Gustav Adell, golf professional from Sweden, is the winner of the 2010 GreenEagle Classic. With a total 3 under par and rounds of 74, 68 and 74 again on the final day he secured victory in Winsen an der Luhe/Germany. 2nd place was taken bei German Benjamin Miarka (70, 75, 72/-2).

Marcus Palm extends his lead at the GreenEagle Classic

Winsen an der Luhe/Germany (mat) – Scoring a solid round 71 on the 2nd day of the 2010 GreenEagle Classic, Swede Marcus Palm extended his lead at the 30,000 EPD Tour tournament in Winsen an der Luhe/Germany. A total of 7 under par (68+71) after 36 holes on the par 73 golf course gives the 23 year old a comfortable three shot lead on Sunday when he goes into the final round of the event. 2nd place is shared by Palms' fellow countryman Gustav Adell (74+68) and Rasmus Hjelm (70+72) from Denmark, winner of the 2010 Danfoss Masters.

Whilst the three top positions of the leaderboard are covered by members of the Ecco Tour, 4th place is shared by two members of the EPD Tour: Grant Jackson from England (picture above) and Paul O'Hara from Scotland scored 3 under par for the tournament so far. The GreenEagle Classic is a co-sanctioned event of both the EPD Tour and the Ecco Tour.

GreenEagle Classic: Marcus Palm takes 1st-round-lead

Winsen an der Luhe/Germany (mat) – With a flawless round 68 on the demanding par 73 golf course of the GreenEagle Resort in Germany, Swede Marcus Palm took the lead at the 2010 GreenEagle Classic. A group of four players is sharing 2nd place on 3 under par, among them Scotsman Paul O'Hara (picture above), winner of the Fürst Fugger Privatbank Classic.
