Welcoming the EPD Tour here requires all the employees to do their very best. Giving an event like this the suitable setting is also a great challenge, and if you organise an event like this successfully, all of the participants gain a big self-confidence boost.
The highlight of this course is, of course, our greens. We also have superb fairways which have been mown very short, providing excellent ball contact. The whole course dictates to the player the way in which they have to position their shots. Bad shots are almost always punished on this course – but good ones are rewarded.
On our course it is possible to determine the difficulty of the challenge from
the different tees. It’s a pleasant course to walk on – but driving a cart on it
is also fun.
The open golf week is an additional highlight of the golfing
year. The course is also manicured at this event, but it is easier for amateurs
to play at that event than it is during the week of the EPD tour.

Hole 15 is my favourite because you can play it in so many different ways depending on where you tee off and drive and on the positioning of the flags.

My victory during an EPD Tour Event in Gruyere in Switzerland and the fact that I was one of the five participants on the first official EPD Tour Event. I can honestly say that I have been there right from the very start.
Now that’s a hard question to answer. Currently, the EPD Tour provides a great tournament experience to newcomers and amateurs golfers in a professional context. I just can’t say what things will be like in 2015!
The Ryder Cup is by far and away the most emotional golfing event in the world. I want to see golf stirring up more positive emotions – and I would love to see that happening in Germany. I think we can all be much more emotional than we think. If the Ryder Cup comes to Germany we can show this to the world – just like we did when we hosted the football world cup.
