Course flooded: Björn Stromsky wins after 36 holes
Belek/Turkey (mat) – Heavy thunderstorms flooded the Gloria Old Course in Belek/Turkey and made it impossible to play the 3rd round of the Gloria Old Course Classic. Tournament director Kariem Baraka was therefore forced to reduce also the 2nd tournament of the 2012 EPD Tour season to 36 holes. Winner after two rounds is Björn Stromsky from Germany. For the 22 year old from Ravenstein it is the 1st victory of his professional career. He triumphs with 4 under par (68+72). His fellow countrymen Anton Kirstein and Daniel Wünsche complete the German success in Belek as they take places 2 and 3 on the winner's podium.
With his triumph at the 2012 Gloria Old Course Classic Björn Stromsky is also the new No. 1 of the EPD Tour Order of Merit. FINAL RESULTS
