3, 2, 1: Daniel Wünsche crowns his super series

Belek/Turkey (mat) - Daniel Wünsche (Germany) is the winner of the 2012 Sueno Pines Classic in Belek/Turkey. He takes victory with 9 under par and a 3 shot lead. Runner-up is Stephan Gross, another professional from Germany (-6), Swiss Ken Benz, Janne Kaske from Finland and Austrian Christoph Pfau share 3rd place with 5 under par. After 4 tournaments of the 2012 season Daniel Wünsche is also the new leader of the EPD Tour Order of Merit.

Comfortable lead for Daniel Wünsche in Belek

Belek/Turkey (tki) - Daniel Wünsche is in an exclusive and comfortable lead at the Sueno Pines Classic. The 26-year-old from Munich completed the second round in Belek as well as the first with 67 strokes (-5) and now is on top of the leaderboard with a total score 10 under par.

"Actually, the victory is missing", Wünsche said. The German finished the recent two tournaments of the 2012 EPD Tour in Turkey in 3rd and 2nd place. Stephan Gross will tee off as runner-up in the finale on Saturday. The German wrote down six birdies on Friday and a nice eagle on the 15th hole, a 500-meter Par-5. With his 67 Gross jumped up on place two with -7. The Austrian Christoph Pfau, the Dane Kristian Nielsen and Finn Janne Kaske (each -4) share place 3.

The first groups are expected to start at 8.30 a.m. on Saturday, so the winner of the last EPD Tour Event in Turkey should be determined in early afternoon.

Sueno Pines: Kramer and Wünsche share the lead

Belek/Turkey (tki) - Two Germans are on top of the leaderboard after day one of the Sueno Pines Classic in Belek. Max Kramer from Frankfurt and Daniel Wünsche (picture) from Munich presented themselves in great form at the 4th tournament of the 2012 EPD Tour. Both signed a 67 (-5) on late Thursday afternoon and entered the clubhouse as leaders. In wait on third place is Frenchman Damien Perrier who needed 68 shots on day 1 (-4).

Since the start of the tournament had a 30-minute-delay because of ground frost in the night before, one flight has to finish one hole on Friday. Anyway, these three players are far behind the leaders. Round two is supposed to start at 8.30 on Friday.
